Pamela Mitchell is an actress/singer/producer with roots in Alabama and Missouri. At an early age she discovered her love of acting and her musical ability as a vocalist, guitarist, and alto saxophone player. She attended Missouri State University for musical theatre, then moved to New York City to pursue her acting career. Pamela was cast in many commercials, plays, and indie films in NYC, including the NYTimes featured 'Oh, Inverted World'. Her introduction to television was as a recurring character on TV Land's 'Make My Day', a prank based show that required a new character each episode. She also joined the Brooklyn Puppetry Arts Theater, where she learned to perform with and build puppets, mainly hand and rod puppets (Sesame Street style).
She began studying improv at UCB in NYC, and after relocating to Los Angeles, finished the improv program at UCB. She performs with several teams, including Titty Titty Bang Bang, Yawkey, and the Pinup Squirrels--being awarded a monthly show at UCB and a bi-monthly show at Comedy Central Stages.
Pamela signed with Bullett Management and FSE Talent, and is represented commercially by Abrams Artists Agency. Recent credits include NBC's 'Law & Order: SVU', Showtime's 'Shameless', CBS's 'Criminal Minds', CW's 'Jane the Virgin', and a guest starring role on TNT's 'Murder in the First'. She also starred in and is a producer on the newly released comedic feature film 'Drinksgiving', which was picked up by Gravitas Entertainment. Two short comedic films are in pre-production currently.
In addition to her acting resume, Pamela is an accomplished musician, as a jazz vocalist for the John Coliani Quintet, and fronts the electro-rock band Letterist in NYC. The band has released two albums, and was featured in CMJ, Baeble, and many other prominent music outlets.
